According
to official Intel 945GC chipset spec,
the chip supports CPU of FSB1066MHz at
maximum by default . However, MSI
945GCM5-F V2 will be able to operate at
FSB 1333MHz (Core 2 Duo CPUs) by
adjusting the CPU FSB frequency in the
BIOS (Over-clocking)
Enter BIOS setup menu and go to
[Frequency/Voltage Control] --> [Adjust
CPU FSB Frequency]. There you can adjust
the value to [333] for the Core 2 Duo
E6300/E6400/ E6600/E6700 CPUs.
Please be
noted that this is over-spec, and this
overclocking behavior is not
recommended. |
